Welcome!

Soroptimist International of the Americas is a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. It is one of four Federations of Soroptimist International which has clubs in more than 120 countries throughout the world.

Formerly the Northeastern Region, we recently began merging with the North Atlantic Region to become its 5th District, and this merger is anticipated to be complete by June 30, 2021. The merger will allow our clubs to increase their collective impact by partnering with other clubs and members to invest in the dreams of women and girls. SIA North Atlantic Region District 5 represents approximately 200 business and professional women who are members of ten clubs in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The District covers the New England states - Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
